The following terms and conditions form the basis of your contract agreement with Kallito Tours & Safaris pty ltd (“we”,”us”, and “our”). Kindly read them thoroughly as they set out our rights and obligations. These Tts & Cs only apply to bookings and reservations made with us which we agree to make, provide or perform as part of our contract with you.
Transport
All our curated group tours are sold with transport provided at certain pick-up points as started in our packages unless the itinerary state otherwise.
Reservations
Where we have confirmed the availability of your chosen arrangements and you book within the applicable time limit, your booking will be treated as firm and a contract between us will come into existence as soon as we receive your application form and deposit. We will then send you a receipt for all payments made and our invoice.
Deposit
A minimum deposit payment of R500.00 (non-refundable) per person must a accompany the booking, we also offer and recommend an instalment plan with 50% of the trip payment made by a minimum of 2 months prior to departure. Bookings made within 4 weeks require immediate full payment.
Quoted Price
For any tour quoted by us covers the cost of planning, the organization and carrying out of the tour, including group equipment, supplies, accommodation, administration, and staff, except for the following, for which you must be responsible for, personal expenses while on trip, vaccination fees, travel insurance, cost of travel to and from the pick up spot, international flights, costs of passport and visas
Cancellations
Following the procedures of global tour operators we may identify exceptional circumstances in which we need to cancel a tour prior to departure. If this happens, all amounts received for the booking, including deposit will be refunded to you, and this will be considered full and final settlement of any liability,
However under normal circumstances all deposit are non-refundable,
Cancellation received within 6-8 weeks before departure will be refunded 100% of tour price with deposits in errors.
Cancellations received within 2-4 weeks of departure will be refunded 50% of tour price with deposits in errors
Cancellations received within zero (no-show) to 2 weeks of departure will be refunded 0% of the tour price deposit inclusive
Delays, Behavior, Damage and Complaints
It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the departure location for your chosen tour, all costs associated with this are soley your responsibility. It is unfortunately that we can not offer you any assistance in the event of any delays at your outward or homeward point of departure.
We expect all our clients to have consideration for other people, if in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you behave in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to our staff or to any third party or damage to property, we are entitled to terminate your trip without prior notice.
While the trip is progress, decisions made by Kallito Tours & Safaris staff -you expected to act in accordance with all reasonable instructions given to you.
You accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you, full payment for any such damage or loss must be made direct to the accommodation owner or other supplier or to us as soon as possible.
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with our trip whilst away, you must immediately inform your trip guide or our local agent and the supplier of service in question. If your verbal complaint is not resolved by the trip guide or local agent or supplier, you must then write to us to the contact details given to you during the confirmation of your booking.

However errors may occasionally occur and information may subsequently change, you must therefore ensure that you check all details of your chosen trip with us at the time of booking.
